Photoshoot Preparation

Here are some useful tips and suggestions to help prepare for your photo shoot session.

• If you are having a home photo shoot session please try to create some free space for the shoot for our photography equipment. This will be greatly appreciated as it does make life much easier when setting up.
• Please aim to have your little one(s) fed and rested if possible before the shoot.
• Consider the types of photos you would like and any particular poses. We will happily guide you and make suggestions but any ideas you can provide are welcomed and encouraged.
• You may have some toys or other objects that you would like to be included in the photos and these can also help keep your little one entertained.
• Consider appropriate clothing for your little one. You may wish to choose a few outfits, some colourful, some plain, although do try to keep the number of changes to a minimum to prevent too much disruption. For babies, you might like some bare skin shots. Again, we can give suggestions.
• For close up shots you might prefer to have your little ones nails neatly trimmed and their hair combed.
• If possible, bathe your little one prior to the shoot to ensure they are nice and clean.
• Finally, enjoy the shoot. It's a great experience and you will have some amazing photos to remember!
